A Sleepy Kind of Day
Hun is off of his swing/night shifts and has vacation for the next week. However, all of us–Munchkin included–are off our sleep schedules, making today a sleepy kind of day. Munchkin woke up early again today, and we went to breakfast, followed by a mid-morning nap. After all three of us woke up, Munchkin felt he had his nap in for the day–even though he was ridiculously tired by 2:00 pm. After a couple of hours of alternating back and forth from his crib to the apartment. We decided to brave the heat and grab some Slurpees. We walked through the park and Munchkin played in the playground. When returning home, Munchkin went down. I wished we left two hours earlier. He is still asleep, and it’s a half hour from his regular bedtime.
If–and when–he wakes up, we will provide the ritual of dinner, breathing treatment, bath time, and cuddles before returning him to bed. We shall see how long it holds.
I am in the process of writing the much-anticipated rant about music magazines. (Thanks for the cheerleading, Mom.) It is going to take more time than my usual stream-of-consciousness entries, so I will work on it a little at a time. Love you, Mom and Dad, and dinner is on the stove, so I better shove off to check it, so I don’t burn down the apartment.

Courage Daughter. Thomas will keep you guessing about the nap schedule and bedtime.
Love you all…Peepaw
